Writing Social Issues to Write About
Writing Social Issues to Write AboutIf you want to write a story that deals with social issues, you have probably seen it before. Whether it's a story about love, a story about children, or a story about the underprivileged or anything else that you can think of, you can see one more person goes through the exact same experience that you are going through now. Sometimes these stories are humorous and sometimes they are tragic, but the overall message is still the same. There is a difference between what we expect in our favorite movies and what we expect in our favorite novels. We expect different things from books as well. Movies are very different from books, but the majority of the difference really is all in the story telling. In a way, you need a different ability when writing for a movie than you do for a book.A good example of this is the civil rights movement. People were becoming more aware of what was going on around them, and it was beginning to affect their lives. So what happened next was the movie Gone With the Wind.Gone With the Wind was written by a white lady, but it did a very good job of portraying the issues in the civil rights movement. It also got the actors right, so that they weren't afraid to speak out and show how strong they were for those who could not fight back. They used their acting talents to help them get to the point where they could actually change the world.Another great example of a movie that dealt with social issues is Bambi. The story is very similar to Gone With the Wind, except that Bambi is black and his mother was killed. Even though the boys' father is a very bad example of a father, Bambi manages to have the same kind of impact on the other characters. His mother was a great example of a mother who never put her sons on the back burner, and this made the story even more powerful. As you may be able to tell, the difference between the book and the movie is that you really can have more impact when you write the book. Writers are forced to do this because there is no movie industry. Even though there are people who still think that there should be, there really is no way that anyone can get a movie made unless they are willing to try and do it their own way.All you have to do is find a great example of how something affects a group of people. You can use this information to write a great story about an issue that has been going on for years, and you can give it a kind of power that you might not be able to do if you wrote it like a book.
Should I Write About Death College Essay?
Should I Write About Death College Essay?Should I write about death college essay? The answer is a definite yes.I personally have a friend who was in a car accident. She wasn't actually killed, but she suffered a head injury and ended up in the hospital. She was okay at first, but is now in a very serious condition due to seizures. It can really be hard at times to get by without her, so I thought it would be appropriate to write an essay on what kind of a person she is. What I found most interesting was that it started as a topic on something like how she manages to do the things she does, but eventually changed into something completely different. She found it embarrassing to write it on paper, so I asked her if I could help her out with it. I had an idea about going to the university publication and asking them to assign me an essay to be used for a final. I thought it would make the assignment easier, since I wouldn't have to worry about whether I got the job or not.I wrote up a sh ort piece that was about how she managed to keep herself busy without having to worry about money or anything. Her friends and family always surprised her by making sure she was getting enough food or money. She's also a wonderful writer, especially since she went back to school and had some extra time. So instead of going to the traditional writer's workshop, I picked up an online college writing course, which helped tremendously. When it came time to submit the essay to the university publication, they asked me to put together a longer version of the essay. I kept my theme, but added more details and thoughts about my friend's condition. My friend was extremely happy when I finished andshe accepted the award as well.Even though I never directly asked her to write about death, it is definitely a topic she would want to write about. After all, she has been a good person and has never asked for handouts.
Using a Sample Essay Introduction For High School Essays
Using a Sample Essay Introduction For High School EssaysIf you're looking for a way to test out the online high school essays, using a sample essay introduction might be just what you need. The process of writing an essay begins with an introduction, and a good introduction will help you in three major ways.First, it introduces the topic and ideas that are going to be discussed throughout the essay. The introduction should be interesting, and it should leave the reader with a good feeling about the topic and the writing that is going to follow. An introduction will give the reader an idea of the type of writing that they can expect from you.Second, an introduction will give you a sense of perspective. For example, if you've never done research before, and you know very little about the subject, you'll find yourself writing the introduction in a way that emphasizes the strengths of your writing. If you've researched about the topic, and you have information that you can relate to, it will leave the reader with a much more rounded picture of the topic and the potential topics that are covered in your writing. If you take all the time that you need to be able to share with your readers, it will allow them to come away with a better understanding of what you're writing about.Third, an introduction will make a great first impression. In addition to giving the reader a feel for the style of writing that you plan to use, a sample essay introduction will give you a chance to get to know the person who is going to read your paper. If you're learning how to write essays online, it's important to know that it can be an enjoyable and even a whole experience. The most important thing that you can do is make sure that you are going to work hard to make it one of the best experiences that you've ever had. It's going to be your chance to show your work to a whole new audience, and your writing is going to be judged on the way that you present it.Since so many people are going t o be evaluating your work, it's important that you take some time to set yourself apart from the other candidates on your resume online. Many schools are requiring that you include a sample essay introduction in your resume, and they're being aware that they are going to need to hire some different types of students over the next several years. A sample essay introduction may be the only way that they can learn to make that determination. So go ahead and make a trip to your local high school, and start preparing yourself for the job interview that you'll be having. When you've been accepted to a university or college, you'll probably find that you won't need a sample essay introduction, but you'll find that you still want to make an impact as a writer, and a sample essay introduction will help you do that.

Laws and ethics
Comparison between law and ethics Law is defined as legal requirements, which are written down and enforced by relevant government entities such as courts of law. On the other hand, ethics is defined as moral guidelines that govern a personââ¬â¢s behavior when interacting with others or the society in general. Although application of law and ethics may differ, in some cases, they may overlap. For instance, murder is considered as both illegal and unethical.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Laws and ethics specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Similarities Both law and ethics tend to prevent violations against some regulations set by the society. In most cases, they dictate peopleââ¬â¢s behavior, how they deal with each other, and how they deal with the society in general. In both cases, violation leads to some penalty either as punishment or a sense of disapproval from the society. Violation of law may lead to pu nishment whereas violation of ethical standards may lead to disapproval and in some cases condemnation by the society (Lubin Rhode, 2005). Differences Definition of law has terms such as accepted, consistent, universal, published and enforced. Law should be properly described and state a clear idea, in other words, any contradictions are not acceptable, as people cannot follow both of them. Law has to be universal in order for it to be applicable to everyone within its jurisdiction. In most cases, it does not discriminate people when it is being applied unless in special cases such as diplomatic immunity or cases of mental disorders. The law have to be written , as any law is to be published (Lubin Rhode, 2005). Law is accepted and so it must be obeyed. When developing laws, different representatives of people meet and on their behalf, they establish laws. As such, law is derived from the people who have the duty of obeying it. Since the law must be obeyed, it becomes enforceable and that is why institutions such as the police and the judiciary have a duty of enforcing the law. On the other hand, ethics is not enforceable and so people cannot be compelled to adhere to their requirements. In addition, they are not universal and so their application depends on specific individual, society or organizations basing on factors such as cultural background and moral codes. Ethics are not formed by bodies representing people and so their applications depend on how individuals behave in relation to the norms of a given society (Lubin Rhode, 2005).Advertising Looking for essay on law? When people interact with each other, there are usually ethical issues that they consider so as not to go against the will of others and the society in general. For instance, it is ethical for a doctor to assist a patient who needs emergency serv ices whether he or she is on duty. Law does not necessarily have to carry moral values as it is based on legal framework set by authoritative bodies to guide peopleââ¬â¢s conduct. For instance, when a doctor is not on duty, he may decline to assist a patient under emergency care and will not be considered to have violated any law (Lubin Rhode, 2005). Law carries legal punishments that are enforced by law enforcing bodies such as police and the judiciary. When a person breaks the law, he or she may be subjected to investigation, court process and the punishment may be imprisonment or fine. Ethics does not carry any punishment and the only penalty may be disapproval form peers or the society (Lubin Rhode, 2005). Reference Lubin, D Rhode, D. (2005). Legal Ethics: Law Stories. Educational Technology Essays
Educational Technology Essays Educational Technology Essay Educational Technology Essay Executive Summary Educational technology, also known variously as e-learning, instructional technology and learning technology is the use of technology to support the learning process. Though technology is used widely in the administration and management of education (i.e. student records, marketing, procurement, finance etc, for research purposes, educational technology is only concerned with technology as it impacts upon the learning process, such as delivering learning materials, facilitating communication and providing course assessment and feedback. Over the years, societyâ⠢s use of technology has become more frequent and complex. The demand for knowledge increases exponentially, with e-learning emerging as a major channel for meeting this demand. The key to a successful future educational technology is software and how it will be utilized. The future will be enhanced by software with PACE (presentability, accountability, customizability, and extensibility) characteristics. Introduction Research has shown that the era of pervasive technology has very significant implications for higher education. Nearly two-thirds (63%) of survey respondents from the public and private sectors say that technological innovation will have a major impact on teaching methodologies over the next five years (Consortium Glenn, 2008). Technology allows students to become much more engaged in constructing their own knowledge, and cognitive studies show that ability is key to learning success, says New York City-based Queens College vice-president of institutional advancement, Susan Henderson. Presentability is how the software appeals to the user. For e-learning students having three-dimensional graphics, enhanced stereo sound, and interactive devices that students can control and manipulate are all necessary elements of successful software. To enhance the appeal of the learning process, Software should also have varied presentation modes so it can be used the three ways people teach and learn: as a whole-class discussion to introduce ideas and concepts; with several users to support cooperative learning groups; and as individualized instruction, adapting to the needs and level of each user (this has been accomplished by online classrooms like WebTycho and Blackboard). Accountability is the second essential component of PACE. Evaluations of student work and course progress is what allows teachers to provide individual assistance and encouragement. This type of accountability was showcased with AMBA 640 for the three LREâ⠢s. Without some type of evaluation and objective accountability, educational software is useless. Customizability is the third essential element of sound educational software. Educational Technology should be malleable in the hands of the teacher so that it can be individualized to suite the needs for the different students. Extensibility is the final component of the PACE essentials for educational software. Software that is extensible is easy to augment, easy to take beyond its own environment, and supportive of the creation of new things. Recent surveys with business conclude that the most desirable traits in new employees are effective communication, ability to work with others, leadership, flexibility and maturity, resourcefulness, inquisitiveness, and the ability to learn. Software with the PACE characteristics supports the development of these very traits. Future of Educational Technology The future of educational technology is consists of, but not limited to: 2 Way Communication (We the Media via blog and podcast), Social Learning (Facebook + Ning + Wiki), Hands On Learning + Virtual Project Management, Mobile and iPhone (Handheld), Fundamental cultural and generational shift (Digital Natives), Real time distance learning (Skype + Oovoo and Wimba), Findability for academic content, and Entirely new communication + interaction + business models (Top Future Trends in Educational Technology and E-learning, 2009). Because online learning is gaining a firm foothold in universities around the world. More than two-thirds of respondents from academia say that their institutions offer online courses. Many of them, especially those with a public-service mandate, consider online learning key to advancing their mission, placing advanced education within reach of people who might otherwise not be able to access it (Consortium Glenn, 2008). There are three major reasons why e-learning will continue to grow in the future: (1) the economy has tanked. Most companies are trying to achieve cost savings using e-learning technologies (i.e. online training courses, Intranet modules). (2) Students make more of a conscious effort make better use of their money and time; they will find ways to take advantage of e-learning opportunities. (3) Green initiatives for corporations will also create a need for e-learning. Educational researchers have found that Technology has hadâ⬠and will continue to haveâ⬠a significant impact on higher education (Consortium Glenn, 2008). Nearly two-thirds (63%) of survey respondents from both the public and private sectors say that technological innovation will have a major influence on teaching methodologies over the next five years. In fact, technology will become a core differentiator in attracting students and corporate partners (Consortium Glenn, 2008). (2009, June 5). One-Way Analysis of Variance with SPSS Coursework
One-Way Analysis of Variance with SPSS - Coursework Example Using results from the Tukey HSD test, it is observed that there are several comparisons listed in the table. For instance, in the first row, we can see the comparison between group 1 and the other two groups. Following this table across, we see that the difference of means between group 1 and the other two groups is significant. However, the difference in means between group 2 and 3 is not significant (p-value = 0.999). The results are consistent with our findings based on the ANOVA test in which the p-value was significant as it is less than 0.05. The significance of the p-value (from the ANOVA test) is observed due to the significant difference of means between groups 1 and 2 and 1 and 3. Using results based on main effects and post-hoc statistical test, in this case Tukey HSD test, we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that there is a significant difference between the three groups. In other words, there is a difference between the means of the three
